Image yourself stretched out aboard a 41 foot sailing vessel, basking in the warmth of the sun. You lift your hand and first mate, Jan*, is at your side with a cool drink to quench the most tropical of thirsts. * Janet Hamel Solomon, raised in Sarasota from 1960, has been sailing these waters since childhood and is the daughter of the late symphony violinist Jean Hamel and Sheriff/Police/Fire/Vets Chaplain J.D. Hamel - namesake of the Bayfront Veteran's Park, across the street from Marina Jacks where the Key Breeze is docked. The key to the city of Sarasota is onboard in his memory and to daily remind us that the Key Breeze is the Key to your outstanding sailing adventure! As we gently sail toward the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, at times several dolphins will join our voyage riding our bow waves. We sail by celebrities' homes, the new Ringling causeway bridge, and the Sarasota skyline with upclose views of the bay along with spectacular sunsets. Tim* encourages you to take the helm at your pleasure. When it comes to spoiling guests, Key Sailing has no rival! We are here for YOU. * U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain Tim Solomon, also a licensed and ordained minister, can perform your wedding ceremony onboard, renew your marriage vows, or teach you to sail. Tim is also a chaplain for the Cincinnati Reds. Tim and Jan have been married 30 years and began sailing these waters together while dating as teenagers! If you have a love story that rivals theirs, they would love to include it in Jan's book sequel, "LOVE'S A BREEZE."

Whether you choose to spend quiet moments reading your favorite novel, sailing the boat from the helm,
or enjoying the sights of Sarasota from the water, you can be assured your voyage will prove to
be memorable. Feel free to bring your favorite music CD and allow us to personalize your experience.

Key Sailing Charters will gladly chart your personal course of destination. Nothing is too much
to ask. We even customize the snacks according to need, and we never sail without chocolate!

We are documented & insured for up to 12 passengers,
however when we mix and match couples, we limit the sail to a total of 6 people.
Our mission is to provide a comfortable and relaxing ride for all our guests.
